Embedded Systems Engineer (m/f) -- Hardware, Firmware & Testing

We are expanding our development department in Affing (near Augsburg) and seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer.

Future-Oriented Challenges

Take a proactive role in the development and verification of innovative smart security projects.
Collaborate in cross-functional teams on requirements analysis, development, and implementation of test concepts, acting as an interface between project management, hardware development, design, and production.
Create circuit diagrams, PCB designs, select components, and prepare manufacturing documentation.
Develop firmware for commissioning, testing, and verification of smart security projects.
Define and implement automated test concepts and layouts for embedded security systems.
Support internal/external tests and prepare test results.

What Sets You Apart

Degree in electrical engineering/computer science/mechatronics or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of two years of professional experience in hardware or firmware development.
Methodical and practical experience in test engineering for complex projects.
Hardware-related programming skills in C or Python.
Experience in creating and implementing automated test concepts.
Proficiency in EDA software, preferably Altium Designer (desirable).
