YOUR ROLE
- In a nutshell: Together with your team, you will analyze, plan, and implement build and deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation for our clients' business-critical system landscapes.
- Analyze requirements: You will capture customer requirements and the technical starting point, derive solution concepts, and implement them, potentially in tender situations.
- Plan system environments: You will plan, document, and set up system environments and processes, and monitor them.
- Conceive operation and maintenance: You will design the operation and maintenance of the operated applications, considering scalability, fault tolerance, alerting, monitoring, logging, and security.
- Automation: Automate build, release, and deployment processes (CI/CD) in complex staging environments.
- Smooth Release Management: Ensure the simple and secure automated rollout of software and project releases. You will advise our clients on quality and process optimization as a point of contact.
YOUR PROFILE
- Practical experience: You have expertise in automation and are familiar with "Infrastructure as Code" concepts, CI/CD, build pipelines, containerization, cloud services, and related tools. You also love supporting software teams with automated processes and tools to continuously improve software quality.
- Development skills: You have very good knowledge of object-oriented development with Java or comparable languages, as well as common scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy).
- CI/CD experience: Experience with CI/CD, including associated tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GIT, SonarQube, Artifactory, Nexus, Maven, Gradle, etc.).
- Infrastructure as Code: You have deep insights into "Infrastructure as Code" concepts and orchestration platforms (Docker Compose, Swarm, Kubernetes, Terraform) and are proficient with common automation tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Saltstack.
- Cloud experience: Ideally, you have already gained experience in IT operations, public cloud (AWS, Azure), or private cloud (OpenStack, OpenShift).
- Language skills: Very good German and good English skills.
