Client Details

For our renowned client in the maritime defense industry, we are seeking qualified support as an IT System Integration Engineer for Naval Ships (m/f/d) at the Hamburg location, starting as soon as possible.

If you have a technical degree or a comparable qualification, experience in integrating complex IT systems and in the system architecture of modern IT infrastructures, and enjoy working on challenging projects in the maritime environment, we look forward to receiving your application.

Job Description

  • You will conceptualize and integrate complex IT systems for naval ships.
  • You will create construction and order specifications for systems and components.
  • You will derive system requirements and create test and validation documentation.
  • You will support the creation of technical contract specifications.
  • You will review technical tender documents from suppliers.
  • You will monitor compliance with technical specifications by design and suppliers.
  • You will coordinate technical discussions with internal departments.
  • You will liaise with customers, suppliers, and consortium partners.
  • You will ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Profile

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have several years of experience in system architecture and integration of complex IT systems.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of network topologies, server and storage architectures, cloud technologies, and virtualization (e.g., VMware).
  • You ideally have experience with IT systems in a military environment.
  • You have a very good technical understanding and a structured approach to work.
  • You have good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • You are willing to undertake occasional national and international business trips.
