For our client, a renowned auditing and tax consulting firm located in Dortmund, we are seeking a Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) for direct placement, effective immediately. In this versatile and responsible position, you will independently manage a fixed client base and be responsible for the preparation and review of annual financial statements as well as the monitoring of accounting processes. You will be a competent contact person for your clients on all balance sheet issues, actively participate in the optimization of digital processes, and contribute significantly to the success and growth of the firm with your expertise and commitment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Independently prepare annual financial statements according to HGB for companies of various legal forms
• Provide expert support for demanding mandates and act as a competent contact person for balance sheet and commercial law issues
• Participate in tax-related matters as well as in internal and special audits
• Support auditors and tax advisors in conducting annual financial statement audits
• Accompany the further development of internal accounting processes (e.g., in the implementation of digital reporting and closing processes) and contribute to quality assurance

Your Profile:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship and successfully completed further training as a certified Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or a comparable qualification
• Sound professional experience in accounting, ideally in a tax consulting or auditing firm
• Very good knowledge of commercial and tax law as well as HGB financial statement preparation
• Confident use of DATEV and standard MS Office applications, with a high affinity for digital processes
• Independent, solution-oriented work style, valuing professional teamwork and direct client communication
