Who will you join?

The Operations & IT Steering (OI) department is part of the Allianz Group Technology and Data (GTD) - IT Strategy, Transformation & Steering (IT STS). The ITSTS department is responsible for the following activities:

• Own and run the Group ITCO
• Define Group IT Strategy and drive digital transformation & IT upskilling globally
• Align and steer implementation of global Ops/IT strategy in the OEs
• Coordinate transformation execution of key strategic IT initiatives in collaboration with H-Divisions, OEs, Allianz Technology
• Orchestrate key stakeholders across Group to drive critical strategic decisions for global Ops/IT Transformation
• Drive, build and mature the international community of CIOs and drive proper setup of OEs' IT Orga and IT TOM
• Mature resilient IT Operations (CMDB) and IT Service Continuity Management
• Drive the information domain implementation in the OEs and the evolution of the master tool universe (MTU)

How can you make an impact?

The OE managers key responsibilities are:

• Coordinate, monitor and actively steer the implementation of the Group IT & Operations priorities in each OE
• Support ITCo Governance process by ensuring provisioning of requested data on time and with expected quality
• Ensure a constant updated situation of the OEs about key priorities status (e.g. via H4 KPI Dashboard, ITSBs)
• Involve and orchestrate in the Group the key priority owners to ensure constant alignments with the targets
• Orchestrate key stakeholders across Group to drive critical strategic decisions for global Ops/IT Transformation, etc.
• Coordinate and orchestrate H4 input for your OEs for Strategic Dialogue and Planning Dialogue
• Create and prepare quarterly KPI dashboards, and monitor IT Committees project status
• Coordinate and prepare OE topics for the IT Architecture exception management process jointly with Architecture teams
• Monitor the OEs IT project portfolio and projects with various focuses, e.g.
  • Program-/project reviews of the largest Operation, IT or system integration programs
  • Project assessment in the context of the decision-making process, incl. recommendations to the decision-making bodies
• Responsible for the effective and efficient collaboration between OEs (or regions), Allianz SE and its shared services provider AZ Technology

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications

• Exceptional academic background in IT, Economics or Business Administration (diploma or master's degree)
• Deep understanding of Operations and IT and their interrelation with business
• Advanced understanding of financial and operational steering, KPIs, and impacts
• Good understanding of the insurance industry with proven experience of international project management within large and complex IT projects (system implementation/integration programs, IT transformation)
• Professional fluency in English, including proficiency in written English; fluency in other languages is a plus
• Excellent MS-Office skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Not mandatory, but preferred: Project management certification (e.g. PMP, SAFe)
• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
