Our client is a company for digital communication solutions, providing modern network, voice, and data services for business customers. The focus is on stable, scalable, and highly available IT and platform solutions.
Responsibilities
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of a DevOps team of approx. 10 employees
- Structuring, distribution, and tracking of work packages, as well as ensuring smooth operation
- Planning, prioritization, and coordination of team tasks, considering resources and dependencies
- Continuous optimization, standardization, and automation of operational and deployment processes
- Close professional coordination with architects and teams from engineering and development
- Interface function between operations, development, and adjacent departments
- Recording, evaluation, and prioritization of requirements from various company areas
- Professional support for the team on technical issues, especially in the areas of virtualization and automation
Profile
- Several years of leadership experience in a technical environment (e.g., DevOps, IT operations, platform, or infrastructure teams)
- Sound practical experience in the DevOps environment with a focus on automation and process optimization
- Very good knowledge in the area of server virtualization, ideally with Proxmox
- Experience with modern DevOps and automation tools such as CI/CD Pipelines, Ansible, and Terraform
- Basic understanding of container-based architectures and other technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, monitoring, or messaging systems
- Very good German skills (C1), Good English skills
