About the Role
Shape the tax foundation of the energy transition with us. As a Tax Referent, you will support Alterric in minimizing tax risks, ensuring compliance, and creating sound tax bases for strategic decisions. You will work closely with our national companies, handle complex tax law issues, and participate in future projects such as restructuring, M&A processes, and strategic tax reporting. The Tax Team
We are Alterric's always cheerful tax team, responsible for all tax matters within the corporate group. As internal tax service providers, we assist all departments with expertise, helpfulness, and a listening ear. We ensure tax compliance, support restructuring efforts, act as the primary contact for the tax authorities, and assist with all tax-related questions – from mandatory declarations to complex M&A projects. In short: We ensure everything runs smoothly tax-wise – clearly, reliably, and always approachable.
Your Responsibilities
- Participate in handling corporate tax issues, including related declarations.
- Provide tax support to the domestic companies of the Alterric Group.
- Ideally, support tax-related M&A transactions.
- Actively participate in tax audits.
- Prepare tax balance sheets and tax returns for partnerships and corporations, and review tax assessments.
- Support and actively shape tax calculations (actual and deferred taxes) for closing accounts and forecasts – nationally and internationally.
- Take on demanding special tax tasks.
- Contribute to the development of internal tax reporting.
Your Profile
- Completed studies with a focus on tax law or a tax-related vocational training (e.g., Tax Assistant, Tax Clerk) or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in tax law.
- Very good knowledge of tax law and accounting according to HGB; IFRS knowledge is desirable.
- Very good MS Office skills and ideally experience with DATEV or SAP.
- Good English skills are an advantage.
- Driver's license required.
