Requirements

Must have:

  • Successfully completed university degree in computer science or a comparable degree program
  • Initial professional experience, ideally in the semiconductor industry and process control, necessary
  • Experience with Linux and Cloud/Databases (Oracle, SQL) desirable
  • Knowledge in AI/ML and scripting (e.g., Python) advantageous
  • Teamwork skills with regard to users and colleagues in Germany and Malaysia
  • Independent work style, analytical thinking, and hands-on mentality
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken

Responsibilities:

  • Local Business Application Owner for Run-To-Run, Defect Management, and Yield Management systems: understand business requirements, identify gaps, and act as the primary point of contact for the business
  • Translate manufacturing and process engineering requirements into functional system configurations and business rules
  • Understand business requirements, develop and configure necessary system adjustments, conduct tests, and document results
  • Close collaboration with the global team and external software vendors, as well as contributing own ideas
  • Proactively identify and propose system improvements (e.g., AI). Provide consulting services for both new features and existing solutions
  • Handle production emergencies: act as the primary point of contact for the business and coordinate the solution with IT teams
