Your Role

Your work will improve the web hosting platforms of netcup and Anexia for hundreds of thousands of domains. You don't shy away from customer contact, are a Linux expert, and want to contribute to the further development of our web hosting environments? Perfect! Then we want to hear from you!

This position can be filled in a hybrid model, combining presence in our Karlsruhe office with home office.

Your Responsibilities

• Operation, installation, configuration, and maintenance of web hosting systems based on Linux and Plesk for netcup and Anexia
• Further development and optimization of hosting platforms (stability, security, performance)
• Implementation of improvements for an optimized customer experience
• Close collaboration with colleagues and customers, with indirect influence on services used by tens of thousands of users
• Support during incidents: error analysis, resolution, and sustainable prevention
• Accompanying feature rollouts and platform improvements
• Technical processing of incoming customer inquiries (focus on web hosting, predominantly written)

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training or professional experience in a comparable position with a focus on IT
• Expert Linux knowledge (preferably Debian / Ubuntu or corresponding derivatives)
• Experience with Plesk, especially in conjunction with automation (e.g., CLI tools, API)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and automation (Ansible)
• Very good troubleshooting, documentation, and analysis skills
• Systematic, analytical thinking and independent work style
• Teamwork skills and strong customer and service orientation
• Excellent German and good English skills
