Your Responsibilities

As a Principal Consultant PLM (m/f/d), you will guide our global clients across various industries through every stage of their digital transformation in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

• Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Identify business opportunities and lead project and service acquisition to foster sustainable client development. Collaborate closely with sales teams, leveraging your extensive PLM expertise to drive presales efforts and proposal development.
• Advise clients on strategies, processes, and the design and implementation of their target architectures, including the rollout of related products, solutions, and services. You will also manage the planning, coordination, and execution of complex PLM-related digital transformations internationally.
• Provide technical leadership to internal and external project teams, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs). Contribute to the definition and development of the PLM portfolio and promote knowledge sharing within the organization.
• This role involves international travel to client sites.

Your Profile

• A minimum of 15 years of demonstrable experience in client projects involving strategy, consulting, development, and support of complex PLM solutions across the entire product lifecycle.
• A well-established network built through long-term client relationships, with a deep understanding of client needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes, enabling you to derive and implement effective client development strategies.
• Proven success in implementing PLM solutions and a talent for proactively developing client business.
• The ability to translate client challenges into our solution and service portfolio (beyond PLM), position them effectively, and manage their implementation. Familiarity with concepts such as Sustainability, Industry 4.0, Digital Thread/Twin, Closed Loop PLM, Cloud Transformation, Agile methodologies, Service-Oriented Architectures, and SaaS is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of leading PLM platforms and solutions in areas like Digital Continuity and Cloud, with extensive experience spanning product requirements, product creation, production & manufacturing, through to aftersales/maintenance.
• Previous experience with Teamcenter is required.
• Solid understanding of modern IT architectures, consulting and project methodologies, and service management.
• Confident presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with management-level client stakeholders.
• Fluent in both German and English.
