About Us

Our client is an independent capital management company based in Munich. They develop and manage specialized investment solutions (funds) primarily for institutional investors. Their focus is on real estate, renewable energies, and infrastructure. The company also places great importance on sustainability and transparency in its investments.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordination of the balance sheet accounting for various sister companies with the external tax firm, especially reconciliation of fixed assets, accounts receivable, and accounts payable accounting.
  • Booking and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, provisions, and accruals/deferrals with the commissioned tax firm.
  • Reconciliation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB with the commissioned tax firm.
  • Preparation of the notes and management reports for annual financial statements according to HGB.
  • Preparation and coordination of annual audits with the tax firm and auditors.
  • Preparation and reconciliation of value-added tax pre-declarations with the commissioned tax firm.
  • Recording and booking of incoming invoices (incl. VAT).
  • Checking incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Processing of payment transactions for the companies.
  • Independent clarification of payment differences.
  • Handling of customer inquiries (by phone, fax, or email) and corresponding correspondence.
  • Regular reconciliation of accounts.
  • Master data maintenance, dunning, and processing of the open items list.

Profile

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or successfully completed business administration degree with a focus on accounting.
  • Full-time/Part-time: 30-40 hours per week.
  • Sound knowledge of balance sheet accounting standards and accounting regulations.
  • Several years of professional experience in financial and accounting of a company, bank, fund company, financial service provider, tax advisory, or auditing firm, at least 3 years, ideally experience with real estate companies.
  • Legal and tax expertise desirable.
  • Very good user skills with Microsoft Office.
  • Very good numerical understanding.
  • Teamwork, loyalty, trustworthiness.
