What You Can Expect
- You will develop a clear product vision for our merchandising and planning systems and derive an outcome-oriented product strategy from it.
- You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle – from discovery through delivery to learning – with a focus on sustainable impact rather than short-term optimizations.
- You will identify relevant user and business problems and validate solutions based on data, e.g., through analyses, interviews, and experiments (A/B tests).
- You will translate product decisions into measurable results, such as better forecasts, higher inventory turnover, or faster decision-making.
- You will work closely and on equal terms with the engineering and data teams, and together you will share responsibility for product decisions.
- You will manage expectations and priorities in exchange with the specialist departments, especially with merchandising, and create clarity about goals and focus.
- You will continuously develop product-oriented working methods, routines, and outcome KPIs, and strengthen agile principles as well as cross-departmental collaboration and learning culture.
What You Bring With You
- A completed university degree, e.g., in business informatics, business administration, supply chain management, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience as a Product Manager for digital products, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or a data-driven environment.
- Experience with hypothesis-driven product development and working with measurable goals (KPIs/OKRs).
- Strong analytical understanding and enjoyment of data-based decisions.
- Clear, structured communication as well as the ability to set priorities and take responsibility.
- A pragmatic, solution-oriented approach and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration.
