Then we are looking for exactly you as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d) in our Engineering team in Kirchentellinsfurt near Tübingen.

What You Can Expect

  • You will design and implement everything related to account, identity management, and checkout in our e-commerce system used throughout Europe.
  • You will work in an interdisciplinary product team with other engineers and business stakeholders and participate in software architecture alongside our solution architect.
  • To support programming, you will have access to current IDEs and a completely container-based virtualized server environment on your machine.
  • You will shape the technical quality of the team's results through design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring, acting as a contact person for external colleagues.
  • You will help translate the needs of specialist departments into good user stories and support product management in planning projects and tasks to deliver excellent software together with the team.

What You Bring With You

  • Several years of professional experience in software development in the e-commerce environment.
  • Experience in project management or agile methodologies, a good understanding of software architecture, and a passion for devising technical solutions.
  • You have very good knowledge of PHP, REST, SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL), and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). Optionally, you have experience with Python.
  • As a full-stack developer, you have worked with JavaScript frameworks and frontend components (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • You convince with initiative, a strong hands-on mentality, and your organizational talent.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English – both in discussions about good program design and in exchanges about technical requirements and business needs, to specifically advance your colleagues in application development.
  • You are familiar with and enjoy DevOps concepts such as containerization, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
