We in wastewater management are responsible for the collection of wastewater and rainwater from the entire Berlin metropolitan area to the treatment plants. We build, operate, and maintain our sewers, wastewater pressure pipelines, and pumping stations.

What You Will Do

Inspection, recording, and leak testing of public drainage systems and leak testing of house connections on-site. This includes:
- Inspection in pipes, shafts, and house connections using camera technology (panoramo, analog, and SAT technology)
- Identification of damage during condition assessment
- Performing physical leak tests
- Documentation of recorded master data, with special knowledge of structures like siphons and storage sewers
- Initiating the measurement of water levels in shafts
- Preparation and follow-up for the inspection and recording of public drainage systems and leak testing of house connections

What You Bring

Specialist for pipe, sewer, and industrial services with sound knowledge in role-relevant tasks or a utility specialist with sound knowledge in role-relevant tasks
Alternatively: Completed technical vocational training as an industrial mechanic or wastewater technology specialist with sound knowledge in role-relevant tasks, or a technical profession with a career change training program to become a specialist for pipe, sewer, and industrial services
Sewer inspection and leak testing course certifications
Very good user knowledge of relevant software (e.g., inspection software, UBI)
Extensive knowledge and application of techniques from inspection and/or leak testing
Knowledge of the public drainage network from an operational perspective
Knowledge of regulations, official requirements, and occupational safety
Required: Valid driver's license class B and CE
Teamwork, reliability, and resilience

Compensation
