About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Full Stack Web Developer (m/w/d) to join our IT team in Würzburg. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our in-house web applications and shop systems, ensuring they operate at the highest standards of quality and performance. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing complex features within our technology stack, which is built on Laravel and Vue 3 frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring the robustness and scalability of our software solutions, contributing to the entire development lifecycle from conception to deployment.

As a key member of our team, you will also play a vital role in quality assurance by writing clean, testable PHP 8.x code and conducting thorough code reviews. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing and resolving technical issues, providing third-level support, and taking ownership of projects from database architecture to deployment. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant educational background, such as a completed apprenticeship as a Fachinformatiker, a degree in computer science, or extensive professional experience in web development. Proficiency in German language skills, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

In the backend, you should have comprehensive experience with modern PHP, MVC frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, and the ability to adapt quickly between different frameworks. For frontend development, familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Alpine.js, or React is essential, along with a solid understanding of component-based architecture and contemporary JavaScript practices. Additionally, strong database skills, particularly with relational databases like MySQL, MSSQL, or Percona, and a deep understanding of performant database structures, are required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement complex features within our web applications, ensuring alignment with project requirements and technical standards.
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code in PHP 8.x, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high-quality codebase and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Take ownership of projects, including database architecture, application deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective solutions and support, including third-level support for escalated problems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in web technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices to continuously improve our software solutions.
