Your Responsibilities

As our (Senior) Group Accounting Manager, you will be a key player in our finance organization, acting as a vital link between local entities and global headquarters. You will serve as a "sparring partner" for local finance teams, translating business events into accurate accounting entries and ensuring high-quality, compliant financial reporting.

Your tasks will include:

  • Consolidation & Financial Reporting: Driving monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of Group financial statements according to IFRS and local GAAP (HGB).
  • External Reporting: Contributing to high-quality external financial reporting, including the Statement of Cash Flows, Notes, and Management Report.
  • Consolidation Operations: Performing monthly consolidation entries and ensuring accuracy in systems like Navision (and future LucaNet), including IFRS adjustments (e.g., IFRS 16 Leases).
  • Business Partnering: Proactively partnering with local accounting teams to ensure unified group standard application and providing "Actuals" data to the FP&A team for group-wide planning and analysis.
  • Audit & Compliance: Acting as a primary contact for external auditors, managing audit requests and data delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Optimizing consolidation workflows and ERP functions, and contributing to special projects like the setup of LucaNet or other closing tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with the Global Tax and ESG Departments to integrate non-financial reporting into the Group's framework.

Your Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. A professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or similar) is a significant advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years (Senior: 6-8 years) of accounting experience, with a strong focus on consolidation in a multinational environment or a "Big 4" audit firm. Experience in a stock-listed company is a plus.
  • Consolidation Expertise: Proven experience in complex consolidation routines and with modern consolidation software, preferably LucaNet.
  • Mindset: Adaptable to evolving structures, proactive in process definition, and able to understand the commercial context behind financial numbers.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate financial requirements clearly to diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, international setting.
  • Languages: Fluency in both English and German is required.
