Bridgeman Images is a prestigious international fine art and photographic archive specialising in the licensing of fine art, cultural and historical images. With offices worldwide, we work with museums, photographers, artists, publishers and brands to provide outstanding visual content solutions. The company's headquarters are in London, United Kingdom, and internal communication with other departments and colleagues in other countries is mostly in English.

To strengthen our Berlin office and support our continued growth in the DACH region and Poland we are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Customer Service Representative to join our Sales team.

About the Role

This role combines high-quality client support with a strong focus on sales operations, new client development, and business growth.

You will join a dynamic Berlin-based team consisting of two Account Managers and two apprentices, working closely together to support clients, develop new opportunities, and reinforce our presence in the German market.

The Berlin Sales team reports directly to the Global Head of Sales, based in Paris.

The position is based in Berlin and offers a hybrid working model, combining office presence with home office flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Client Support

  • Providing fast, professional and solutions-oriented support to existing clients
  • Acting as a key point of contact for our growing E-commerce customer base
  • Handling licensing and purchasing requests efficiently
  • Ensuring timely responses to image requests, orders and licensing queries

New Client Development & Lead Generation

  • Proactively identifying and qualifying new potential clients within target markets
  • Conducting outbound calls and email outreach to generate new business opportunities
  • Supporting the Sales team in expanding Bridgeman Images' client portfolio in Germany
  • Building and maintaining a strong prospect pipeline through consistent follow-up
  • Accurately recording lead activity and progress within the CRM system

Sales Administration & Operational Support

  • Maintaining and updating client and prospect data within HubSpot CRM
  • Preparing quotations, invoices and supporting administrative sales processes
  • Coordinating meetings, follow-ups and internal communications
  • Assisting with the preparation and follow-up of trade fairs, events and client visits

Support to Account Managers & Project Follow-up

  • Assisting the two Account Managers with daily sales activities as required
  • Supporting invoicing processes, order tracking and client documentation
  • Helping coordinate ongoing client projects and ensuring deadlines are met

Office Collaboration

  • Ensuring regular presence in our Berlin office
  • Contributing to a supportive team environment

Candidate Profile

  • A commercial qualification or equivalent professional experience
  • A strong interest in sales, client acquisition and business development
  • Confidence when speaking with clients and prospects by phone
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Experience with HubSpot or other CRM systems is a plus
  • An interest in culture and the creative industries
  • Fluent German at native speaker level and good knowledge of English, with confidence communicating in English both internally in an international company setting and externally with customers in Poland and English speakers in the DACH region
  • Structured, proactive and detail-oriented working style
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent service standards
