The Role

Your Job as Part of the Canyon Crew

Strategic Planning

  • Lead the company's corporate strategy development process in collaboration with the C-Level, senior executives and the Board.
  • Define long-term corporate goals, including growth strategies, new market penetration, product/service diversification, and operational improvements.
  • Design and implement key initiatives to drive business transformation and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Ensure that corporate strategies are effectively translated into actionable plans, with clear deliverables, timelines, and metrics.
  • Oversee strategic projects, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Take ownership of Board meetings, and ensure relevant agenda setting, cross-functional pre

Corporate Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute new growth opportunities, partnerships, and services to drive growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to act as a catalysator for strategic thinking and expertise and build connections across the company where required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry leaders to influence and benefit strategic direction.

Market And Consumer Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to assess emerging trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Analyze macroeconomic factors, industry shifts, and potential disruptions that could impact the company's performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the executive team regarding potential growth opportunities or risks.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and analytics to evaluate the potential impact of new strategies.
  • Engage in overall Consumer analysis to support various functions in decision making

How You Become Part of the Race

  • Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting, with a proven track record of successful strategic planning.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities; ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management experience; ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the industry and market dynamics relevant to the company's business.
