Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss, and project analyses by management unit, checking the results for plausibility and correctness, and independently implementing any necessary adjustments; making independent decisions on account assignment to management units.
  • Prepare data and develop decision proposals.
  • Support with IT technical projects and the introduction of new systems.
  • Participate in General Ledger Accounting / Business Accounting.
  • Further develop and optimize accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, regulations, and internal control systems.
  • Perform data cleaning.
  • Implement new methods and procedures in accounting according to new IFRS and HGB standards.
  • Process and analyze large volumes of data.

Your Profile:

  • Education in accounting or financial accounting, a completed degree, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience handling large data volumes is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in data analysis is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Experience with SAP FI.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • High willingness to learn and accustomed to working under deadline pressure.
  • A desire to contribute your knowledge to the continuous improvement of processes in an international environment.
  • Teamwork, strong communication skills, and initiative.
  • Analytical thinking and a structured way of working.
