Your Tasks:

• Performing calculations in Siemens NX Simcenter and StarCCM
• Creating and maintaining documentation, manuals, and tutorials on calculation methods
• Supporting our customers through precise calculations of pressure relief concepts, especially in the context of disruptive arc events, to ensure the safe operation of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS)
• Preparing CAD models for simulations in Siemens NX / Teamcenter NX

Your Profile:

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's) or comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of Finite Element Methods (FEM) and Finite Volume Methods (FVM), especially in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Desirable: Knowledge of medium-voltage switchgear
• Experience with CAD systems (Siemens NX / Teamcenter NX) for preprocessing
• Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Software skills:
  • Siemens NX, Teamcenter: Basic knowledge
  • Siemens Simcenter, StarCCM: Advanced knowledge
• Personal attributes: Teamwork, independent work style, communication skills, goal orientation, organizational talent, resilience
