Description:

Your Responsibilities:

• You will independently enforce and negotiate warranty claims against suppliers.
• You will be responsible for examining warranty claims in special recourse.
• Examine liability claims and the amount of claims against suppliers in coordination with other departments.
• Send claim letters to suppliers, review feedback, and coordinate with departments if necessary.
• Conduct negotiations (including goodwill negotiations if applicable) with suppliers.
• Agree on cost settlements with suppliers.
• Plan and carry out billing (either lump sum or quarterly).
• You will negotiate with third parties, such as involved insurance companies.
• You will support colleagues in regular recourse with legal questions, e.g., regarding contractual agreements.
• You will support contractual agreements on quality issues with suppliers.
• You will work cross-functionally with other departments, such as procurement, failure analysis, engineering, legal, and after-sales.

Your Qualifications:

• You have a completed degree in business law - Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or related legal sciences.
• You possess excellent negotiation skills, assertiveness, communication skills, and perseverance.
• You have a native-level command of German and English (spoken and written).
• You have good legal knowledge in warranty law, general terms and conditions, and contract drafting.
• You are interested in quality-related, technical, commercial, and legal issues.
• You have at least 2 years of professional experience in recourse management.
• You are interested in technical issues and can represent them legally soundly.
• Technical knowledge in the areas of trucks, buses, drive batteries, and combustion engines is an advantage.
• You have a strong ability to grasp complex issues and solve them in a goal-oriented manner.
• You work independently and are self-responsible.
• You possess intercultural competence and are prepared for occasional business trips.
