A Japanese manufacturer of chemical products is looking to recruit a Junior Sales Executive in Germany.

You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, in addition to developing new business opportunities across Europe to a wide range of industries, including the automotive sector.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience in similar sectors with ambition to build a long-term career at the company.

TYPE: Permanent, full-time WORKING HOURS: 38.5 hours per week SALARY: up to 50k including 13-month bonus, depending on experience + Company Lease Car START: ASAP LOCATION: Suburb of Düsseldorf area, Germany (Home-office will be acceptable after the training)

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts (Mainly OEM or Tier1 suppliers) in Germany and across Europe
  • Develop new business opportunities in Germany and other EU countries through direct communication and industry networking
  • Travel within Germany (mainly the central part) and other EU countries for client visits, meetings, and business development activities
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to generate new leads and build professional networks
  • Prepare and manage client proposals, contracts, and related documentation
  • Stay informed on market trends and gather competitive intelligence

Ideal Candidate

  • Motivated to build a long-term sales career within the company
  • Several years of sales experience are an advantage
  • Must hold a valid driver's license (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Understanding of Japanese corporate culture and Japanese language skills are an advantage
  • Possesses strong communication skills, collaborates effectively with others, and takes initiative to lead
  • Fluency in German and English language (spoken and written)
