Position Opening
To strengthen our team in Düsseldorf, we are seeking a part-time Junior Lecturer with a focus on Clinical Psychology (m/f/d), effective March 1, 2026. This is a fixed-term position with 32 hours per week.
Your Responsibilities
Teaching
- Conducting courses primarily in clinical psychology for the Bachelor's program in Psychology.
- Supervising Bachelor's and Master's theses.
Research
- Assisting in the establishment and support of research infrastructure (e.g., lab setup, research data servers).
- Collaborating on the university's research projects.
Organization and Administration
- Participating in academic self-governance, including committee work and contributing to quality and strategic processes.
Your Profile
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- A Ph.D. in Psychology.
- Solid methodological skills in statistics (R) and biopsychological methods (EEG, heart rate measurement, eye-tracking, etc.).
- A high degree of responsibility, structured work ethic, motivation, commitment, resilience, and initiative.
- Empathetic and confident demeanor when interacting with students, partners, study participants, and colleagues.
- Teaching experience, evidenced by good to very good teaching evaluations.
