To strengthen our cloud administrator team, we are looking for you -- dedicated, technically strong, and ready to take responsibility.
Responsibilities
Operation & Further Development of our Global Cloud Platform
- Life-cycle management: Planning, implementation, commissioning, patch and update management
- 2nd level support as well as escalation/communication in 3rd level/manufacturer contact
- Operation and optimization of our hyper-converged server landscape (DELL)
- Administration and troubleshooting in Linux environments
- Virtualization with KVM as well as management of our OpenStack environment
- Management and further development of our CEPH storage cluster
Containers & Automation
- Operation, maintenance, and scaling of our Kubernetes clusters
- Infrastructure automation with Ansible, Bash, and other tools
- Development of new automation processes to reduce manual tasks
- Monitoring, logging, and performance optimizations (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Security & Stability
- Participation in architectural decisions and technical improvements
- Ensuring security standards, availability, and system hardening
- Incident analysis as well as proactive problem and capacity management
Qualifications
Technical Qualification
- Completed apprenticeship as a specialist in system integration, computer science degree, or a comparable qualification
- Profound Linux experience (ideally Ubuntu and Suse)
- Good knowledge in virtualization, storage, and networks (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
- Experience with at least one of the areas: KVM, OpenStack, CEPH, Kubernetes
- Confident use of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform or similar)
- Experience in cloud security, monitoring, CI/CD, or high-availability architectures
- Knowledge in the optimization of large storage clusters or container environments
- Interest in AI-based automation or orchestration technologies

- Sense of responsibility, reliability, and enthusiasm for complex technical environments
- Good communication in German and English
- Desire for a long-term perspective in a modern, location-independent work model
