About the Role

At ctrl-s, you will develop exceptional platforms for the automation of printing companies. With freely configurable workflows, AI, and Industry 4.0 features, we enable the creation of smart factories together.

As a Fullstack Developer, you will work closely with our project management on new customer projects and, in collaboration with your 14-person team, develop the core software, GUI, or new modules accordingly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Working on the powerful GUI interface for Windows with C# and DevExpress.
• Assisting in the conception and implementation of new applications, and correcting and further developing existing software.
• Processing tickets via Jira, mostly received from project management. These are typically features requested by a client or identified bugs.
• Documenting everything and independently testing your code, currently manually (or you bring experience in automated testing).
• Simply programming – overall, little time is lost on meetings and bureaucracy.

Your Skills:

We are looking for a personality who convinces both professionally and personally and is eager to take on new challenges daily. Your degree or professional experience is therefore secondary at first. What is important to us is that you can independently write a line of code.

• Technical Competence: You have prior experience with C#, C++, or Java and can, in case of need, effectively use Google and/or AI models to solve problems related to specific SQL dialects, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, REST, or any JavaScript frameworks.
• Willingness to Learn: You are eager to continuously learn and want to understand and (creatively) solve complex systems and challenges in our software "symphony".
• Independence and Reliability: You can motivate yourself independently, work conscientiously, and communicate openly if you have questions or concerns.
• Team Player and Open-minded: We help each other as well as project management, are interested, and enjoy our pleasant interpersonal atmosphere.
• German language skills at least at C1 level.
