The Digital Transformation Office is part of the Strategy department at Daimler Buses, reporting directly to the management. We are a dynamic, goal-oriented team coordinating all digitalization initiatives across the entire value chain at Daimler Buses. As a central team, we promote collaboration across teams, departments, and all hierarchical levels.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Further development of the digitalization strategy with a focus on AI across all specialist areas and analysis of business requirements
  • Coordination and leadership of a cross-functional working group (AI Powerhouse) with appropriate committee steering and networking within the Group
  • Consolidation & strategic management of all AI initiatives at Daimler Buses and responsibility for EBIT realization for Daimler Buses
  • Close collaboration with Business (Truck & Bus) and IT for prioritization and implementation of AI solutions
  • Enablement & Change Management through training such as AI Masterclass, communication formats in the Social Intranet, and best practices in department meetings/jour-fixes

QUALIFICATIONS

WHY YOU FIT US

  • Completed business studies with a technical focus, e.g., Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Information Management, or a comparable degree program
  • Several years of professional experience as well as strong organizational skills and an excellent network within the Group, ideally in Bus and Truck functions
  • Strong conceptual, strategic, and analytical skills, as well as a high degree of persuasiveness
  • Several years of experience in the conception and implementation of digitalization projects
  • Methodological knowledge for transformation (Change Management, Design Thinking, Agile Working)
  • Enthusiasm for digital topics and experience in developing business models
  • Business Analyst experience in the areas of digitalization (including Artificial Intelligence, Process Modeling & Data/Analytics) is necessary
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully with stakeholders from different cultures and hierarchical levels
