Job Description

The DEMGY EIS GmbH is a developer and manufacturer of custom-made components as well as a provider of services for civil aviation. We are a successful, dynamic, and rapidly growing company. Around 150 employees at two locations offer a comprehensive package of solutions for our customers. Each of our services is individually tailored to the wishes and requirements of our customers and meets the highest quality standards. For our headquarters in Euskirchen, we are looking for a:

Your Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Independent processing of all business transactions in accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as at the general ledger level
• Maintenance of fixed asset accounting
• Processing of payment transactions
• Account reconciliation and account maintenance
• Preparation of tax and statistical reports
• Optimization and further development of internal accounting processes
• Creation of statistics and evaluations
• Contact person for internal accounting issues as well as for auditors, tax advisors, and financial authorities
• Reporting line to the Head of Finance and Controlling

Your Profile

• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification
• Further training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
• Several years of sound professional experience in finance and accounting
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB and tax law
• DATEV knowledge is desirable
• Confident handling of common MS Office applications
• Structured and self-reliant way of working
• High degree of teamwork combined with good communication skills
• English language skills, both written and spoken
