Teamassistenz am Lehrstuhl für Allgemeine Psychologie II (Motivation, Emotion und Lernen) (m/w/d)
Your Workplace
The research areas of the Chair of General Psychology II at the Faculty of Philosophy and the Department of Theology at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) are in the fields of motivation and social neuroendocrinology. In the area of motivation, we explore the role of unconscious motivational needs for cognition, emotion, and behavior, as well as their relationship to conscious forms of behavior regulation. In social neuroendocrinology, we investigate the role of hormones in the life course for motivation and social behavior. In both research areas, we place great importance on the development and evaluation of valid measurement instruments and on the principles of open science.
In teaching, the chair represents General Psychology II with the topics of motivation, emotion, and learning. Our teaching offer also includes the introduction to psychology and training in empirical research methods. As a team assistant, you will support the chair in administration and be the first point of contact for student and researcher concerns.
