Responsibilities

• Independent purchasing management for defined product groups
• Operational processing of the entire order process (from needs assessment to goods receipt)
• Maintenance and expansion of existing supplier relationships (national & international)
• Active research and qualification of new suppliers, especially in Asia (focus on China)
• Obtaining and evaluating offers, as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
• Monitoring delivery dates, quality, and costs
• Close cooperation with the departments of product development, logistics, and quality assurance
• Creation of reports, analyses, and decision proposals for management

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in economics, supply chain, or a comparable field
• One to several years of experience in purchasing, ideally with international supply chains
• Good knowledge of common CRM systems
• Fluent German and good written English skills
• Structured and independent way of working, organizational talent, and communication skills
• Intercultural understanding and willingness to travel (optional)
