Head of IT Operations (f/m/d)

Areas of responsibility

Your tasks

• Technical and organizational management of the IT Operations department
• Management and further development of the IT operations team (5-6 employees)
• Ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, networks, servers and clients, end and peripheral devices at all locations
• Planning and implementation of infrastructure measures (e.g. technical architecture, procurement processes, implementation and integration)
• Responsibility for IT service processes according to ITIL
• Management of service providers and external partners
• Supporting and implementing the IT security and IT strategy
• Supporting the introduction of Google Workspace and Google Cloud

Requirements profile

Your profile

• University degree in computer science, information and communication technology, data or communications engineering
• Extensive professional experience in IT operations with proven management experience
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, security standards and compliance
• Sound knowledge of the administration of Windows and SQL servers
• Experience in IT service management (ITIL, ISO 27000)
• Strategic thinking paired with operational implementation strength
• Strong leadership and communication skills
