System Administrator - Bergisch Gladbach

Our client, a family-run consulting firm in Bergisch Gladbach, is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join their team. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of IT systems while contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage servers, operating systems, and Microsoft Cloud services (Azure, M365).
• Oversee basic networking, firewalls, and cybersecurity measures.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Provide technical support and tailored IT solutions to clients.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Windows systems; Linux knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Azure and M365 platforms.
• Basic networking, firewall management, and VMware experience.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL preferred) and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in system administration or IT support.
• Fluent German (spoken and written).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
