We are now looking for a passionate and experienced (Senior) iOS Developer (m/f/d) to join our small team and support the further development and migration of the app.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a new native iOS application by converting an existing Xamarin application to Swift.
- Assist in the migraton from Objective-C, modernization, and refactoring.
- Develop new UI components using SwiftUI or UIKit.
- Promote testing practices to increase test coverage and reliability in a crash-sensitive environment.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to optimize user experience and improve UI/UX quality.
- Work closely with the CTO and a small, highly skilled development team to deliver improvements quickly and sustainably.
- Investigate and resolve crashes, performance issues, and user-reported bugs.
- Contribute to shaping the technical direction, architecture, and future-proof decisions.
Your profile
- Several years of iOS development experience, ideally with at least one production app used at scale.
- Proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C and SwiftUI.
- Solid understanding of UIKit and experience building complex iPad UIs.
- Experience with unit testing, snapshot/UI testing, and improving test coverage in existing codebases.
- An eye for detail and design --- you care about building apps that are a joy to use.
- Experience diagnosing crashes using tools like Xcode Organizer, Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills --- you're a team player who loves solving real-world problems.
Bonus Points For
- Knowledge of offline-first app architecture and handling intermittent connectivity.
- Familiarity with Apple enterprise deployment or MDM.
- Any experience with data security and compliance standards.
