Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Economic Officer / Controller (m/f/d) to join us in full-time to develop, shape, and firmly establish new structures. Are you a business administrator (or equivalent) who wants to create meaning with your work? In this responsible position, you will significantly contribute to securing and further developing the economic foundation of our social work. You will hold a central interface role between business unit managers, accounting, administration, and HR.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Preparation and analysis of profitability calculations, fee calculations, and subsidy and funding applications
- Further development of internal cost accounting and controlling
- Support with budget planning and settlements with cost bearers
- Close communication and coordination with central accounting, administration, the HR department, and the responsible business unit managers
- Participation in operational decision-making processes through business analyses and calculations

What You Bring
- Completed degree in Business Administration (Master's or Bachelor's with the willingness to pursue a Master's degree), ideally with a focus on Controlling or Accounting
- Relevant professional experience in controlling or cost accounting, preferably in the social or non-profit sector
- Knowledge of subsidy, funding, and fee systems is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent way of working with a holistic mindset
- High intercultural and communication competence, as well as team and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and self-confident demeanor
