We are currently filling a key role as Sales Manager for the North Germany region (m/f/d) at a leading retail chain.

In this position, you will take on the strategic direction and operational implementation of sales in the branches assigned to you. You will lead a team of 10 sales colleagues who manage all sales activities, coach the teams in approx. 40 branches, and develop future-oriented sales approaches.

We are looking for an experienced sales leader, preferably from retail or consumer-related companies. You should have demonstrable success in managing & developing sales teams and enjoy shaping sustainable sales success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Take on overall strategic and operational responsibility for sales in the North German branches.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 sales colleagues as well as the teams at approx. 40 branch locations.
  • Define and implement all sales activities and develop pioneering sales approaches.
  • Ensure the achievement of sales and earnings targets of the group of companies.
  • Develop new market potential through comprehensive competitor and market analysis.
  • Continuously optimize sales processes and structures to increase efficiency.
  • Intensive cooperation with internal specialist departments and external cooperation partners.
  • Manage the budget for the sales area and regular reporting to management.

WHOM WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Well-founded and several years of management experience in sales (min. 5 years), preferably in retail or consumer-related companies.
  • Proven success in leading and developing sales teams with at least 10 employees.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Strong communication, motivation, and persuasion skills.
  • A high degree of entrepreneurial thinking and action.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the North Germany region.
  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.

REMOTE WORK POLICY

In this role, you will work fully remotely, as you will be on the road most of the time in the branches of your sales territory. Additionally, you will regularly attend meetings at the headquarters in Hamburg, so proximity to Hamburg is recommended.

Should you move or travel for this role, your relocation or travel expenses will naturally be covered.
