Your Responsibilities

• You develop and maintain complex backend systems based on Java / Spring Boot and Node.js / NestJS, including the implementation of REST services and modular, scalable architectures.
• You design performant and well-documented REST APIs and ensure their versioning and maintainability.
• You work with PostgreSQL on data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• You contribute your expertise in MVC architectures, Clean Code, and best practices to create robust and maintainable solutions.
• You support the containerization and operation of our applications with Docker and Kubernetes and build automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
• You take responsibility for technological migrations, analyze existing codebases, and develop sustainable strategies for porting between NestJS/TypeScript and Spring Boot/Java.
• In an agile, interdisciplinary team, you work closely with other experts and share your knowledge to continuously increase the team's technical excellence.

Your Profile

At least 5 years of experience in professional software development, including at least 3 years each in Node.js / NestJS and Java / Spring Boot, demonstrate that you can master complex challenges.

We also expect in-depth knowledge in:

• TypeScript and structured API design
• PostgreSQL (data modeling, performance tuning, migrations)
• Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

You have already gained experience in migration and integration between different platforms and technologies. You value quality and write structured, maintainable code characterized by best practices and clean code principles. Your very good German language skills enable smooth communication within the team and with stakeholders to effectively share ideas and achieve goals together.
