EEW Energy from Waste GmbH is seeking a Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d) for their Helmstedt location starting as soon as possible for a fixed term of 18 months.

Your Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of timely monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements (IFRS/HGB) for selected subsidiaries and contribution to external group reporting.
• Fixed asset accounting.
• Independent assessment and presentation of complex accounting issues.
• Invoicing/billing.
• Liaison with service providers (tax advisors, auditors).
• Account maintenance, reconciliation, and payment transactions.
• Close collaboration with the management of supervised subsidiaries and the controlling department.
• Optimization of processes, policies, and project involvement.
• Support and further development of SAP applications and functionalities in finance and accounting.

Your Profile

• A degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship with successful further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d).
• Several years of professional experience in accounting (absolute financial statement certainty) or auditing.
• Very good practical experience with SAP FI, SAP AA, and SAP SD, as well as confident use of MS Office.
• A high degree of initiative, flexibility, and teamwork.
• Enthusiasm for innovation and change, as well as enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment.
• Conscientious and independent work style, resilience, and a high degree of service orientation.
• Good English language skills are an advantage.
