Ready to shape the future of sleep with us? Let's make it happen! We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer, you will help design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs and systems that power our global fulfillment operations. Working closely with senior engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you'll play an important role in delivering scalable backend services that drive real impact for our customers.
What you'll do:
- You will contribute to building and maintaining backend services in Go, supporting our fulfillment and logistics systems across multiple markets.
- You will develop robust REST APIs and help integrate our backend with internal systems and external partners.
- You will work with AWS services such as SNS, SQS, RDS to build event-driven, scalable solutions.
- You will collaborate with your team to ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
- You will take ownership of the full lifecycle of software development. Design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- You will work in an agile, cross-functional team where knowledge sharing, feedback, and continuous improvement are part of our everyday work.
- You will contribute ideas and help identify opportunities for technical and process improvements.
Who we're looking for:
- You are eager to learn, open to mentorship, and excited to grow your technical and business understanding.
- You have hands-on experience with backend development, ideally using Go (Golang) or are enthusiastic about learning it quickly.
- You are familiar with event-driven architectures, have worked with cloud-based environments, ideally AWS and Kubernetes.
- You understand the basics of building and maintaining RESTful APIs and are comfortable working with distributed systems.
- You have some experience in integrating systems via messaging services like SNS/SQS, Kafka, or similar tools.
- You are comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and have a basic understanding of monitoring and operational best practices.
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative, open-minded, and feedback-rich environment.
