Location: Hybrid, Leipzig Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time

As a People Lead (gn), you will take on the disciplinary leadership and further development of our software engineering teams, creating the organizational and cultural framework for sustainable success.

What awaits you

• Disciplinary leadership and further development of the software engineering team (Software Development & Quality Engineering).
• Planning and control of personnel resources in close coordination with People Leads and Principal Engineers.
• Promotion of an open communication and working culture within the stream and across departments.
• Early identification and resolution of conflicts to ensure productivity and team satisfaction.
• Establishment and continuous optimization of processes and best practices in software engineering.
• Close collaboration with Tech Leads and management, including resource and priority planning, as well as implementation and monitoring of OKRs and KPIs.

What you bring

• Completed studies in an IT-related field or comparable qualification, as well as several years of experience in software engineering.
• Several years of leadership experience in cross-functional teams with a strong focus on professional and personal development.
• Very good knowledge of modern development processes and methods (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps).
• Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder, resource, and priority management.
• Confident handling of conflicts, complex situations, and an analytical and structured approach to work.
• Experience with OKRs and KPIs.
• Very good German and English language skills.
