At our Monheim, Leverkusen, Bergisch Gladbach, Inden, and Bergheim locations, we operate technically sophisticated district heating supplies. Four heating power plants with a combined output of around 90 MW supply approximately 1,400 single-family homes, 7,000 apartments, and about 90 public/commercial properties. The hot water systems are distributed across 14 boilers and 4 combined heat and power units. On-site, we have a pipeline network of over 60 km. District heating is a key component of the heat transition, as mandated by the federal government. We are digitizing and automating our plants and networks, utilizing Microsoft Dynamics to optimize our work processes, including mobile workforce management.

Your Responsibilities

• You coordinate maintenance and service orders according to plan, ensuring that ad-hoc measures and disruptions are resolved quickly.
• You take on the technical leadership of our service staff and service providers, acting authentically, honestly, and with integrity to build trusting relationships.
• You ensure work permits are in place, review orders, and maintain clean documentation.
• You maintain and monitor master data in the WFM system, thereby optimizing our processes.
• You contribute ideas on how to further improve our workforce management processes and inspire others to adopt a 'We can do it!' mentality.
• You are in direct communication with internal partners (operations control, purchasing) and coordinate external service providers from HVAC and electrical engineering.
• You create demand requirements, order small parts, and review invoices.

Your Profile

• Completed technical apprenticeship, ideally in electrical engineering, HVAC, or plant mechanics (sanitary, heating, air conditioning).
• Additional qualification as a state-certified technician or equivalent is desirable.
• Several years of professional experience in local/district heating or comparable technical fields.
• IT-savvy and proficient in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics, and SAP.
• Structured, self-reliant working style with a high awareness of safety and quality.
• Analytical, technically adept, and commercially minded.
• Communicative, team-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with partners to achieve outstanding customer results.
• Very good German language skills (at least C1), driver's license class B, and willingness to participate in a regular 24/7 on-call duty for phone support and fault rectification on a rotational basis.
