We are currently supporting a successful financial company and are looking for a Team Leader Financial Accounting (m/f/d) for permanent employment at the Düsseldorf location.

Responsibilities

• You lead and develop a well-established team

• You coordinate close cooperation with divisional management and act as a central interface between management and the team

• You design modern target and performance processes and consistently implement them

• You conduct structured employee discussions, feedback, and development rounds

• You are responsible for demanding credit portfolios, including analysis, valuation, and rating of new and existing customers in German-speaking countries

• You make independent credit decisions within your scope of competence and prepare well-founded drafts for internal committees

• You organize your tasks and priorities in daily business in a structured and efficient manner

• You are available as a technical contact for customers, partners, and international interfaces

• You drive the continuous optimization of workflows and processes

• You create meaningful management reports in English and derive concrete measures from them

• You actively participate in national and international projects in the Risk & Credit environment

Profile

• You have a commercial apprenticeship in the financial sector and a completed degree in economics

• You have several years of experience in credit business, ideally from leasing, equipment finance, or banking

• You have demonstrable experience in independent credit decision-making

• You are very proficient in Excel and common MS Office applications

• You communicate fluently in German and English

• You have an analytical mindset, are number-savvy, and quickly grasp economic contexts

• You convince with clear communication, assertiveness, and diplomatic skill

• You work with self-motivation, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach

• You act in a structured, solution-oriented manner with an entrepreneurial mindset
