Our client is a leading provider in the field of information and communication systems, specializing in technical data solutions for international industrial companies. The company develops, operates, and supports software solutions used worldwide that assist manufacturers, dealers, and service partners with after-sales processes. To strengthen the team at the Munich location, an engaged Software Architect and Team Lead (m/f/d) in the area of interfaces and communication is sought for an indefinite permanent position as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Product and Architecture Leadership

• Lead the further development of a central software product -- from conception to implementation.

Software Architecture & Interfaces

• Design and optimize the system architecture and interfaces with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.

Team Leadership

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the development team and offer support with technical challenges.

Product Strategy & Planning

• Participate in product strategy, prioritize requirements, and coordinate closely with internal teams.

Quality & Documentation

• Ensure development standards, security guidelines, and technical documentation.

Problem Solving & Innovation

• Early identification of technical risks and development of efficient, future-oriented solutions.

Profile

• Several years of experience in software development for web applications, particularly in the backend (Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Very good understanding of software architectures, APIs, and data structures (e.g., XML, JSON).
• Experience in the technical leadership of development teams.
• Analytical thinking, strategic foresight, and pragmatic decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and consulting skills in dealing with developers, stakeholders, and project participants.
• High quality awareness, structured work approach, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Very good German and English language skills.
