About the Role

At Fastned, you have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the electromobility revolution as a (Junior) Expansion Manager for Real Estate / Site Acquisition. Become part of our German expansion team, help us continue to grow in Germany, and build a European network of 1,000 fast-charging stations with us. We are a team of over 400 employees at 10 locations. Our German office with around 50 colleagues, who are already looking forward to meeting you, is located in Cologne.

Your Contribution

As a (Junior) Expansion Manager for Real Estate / Site Acquisition, you and your team will be responsible for the expansion of our fast-charging network in your region. You will find suitable locations, build trusting partnerships, and guide projects from the initial idea to implementation. With your feel for people and places, you will actively shape where and how electromobility becomes accessible to everyone.

• You will be responsible for property acquisition, from identifying suitable locations to finalizing lease agreements, thereby actively driving expansion.
• You will use your analytical skills to create potential, location, and market analyses and to evaluate the attractiveness of the sites.
• You will independently conduct negotiations with owners, project developers, and other partners at eye level until successful completion.
• You will play a central role in cross-functional collaboration with our architects, lawyers, and other teams to support locations from the early concept phase to final implementation.
• You will build a network and local partnerships in the long term to sustainably expand our portfolio.

Your Profile

• You live in or near Cologne and enjoy working on-site at our beautiful office about 3 days a week.
• At least 2 years of experience in a comparable acquisition role, ideally related to site acquisition or expansion.
• Local knowledge and an existing network in the real estate industry are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders – both internal and external.
• Native-level German and fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany, especially in NRW, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, etc., and occasionally to Amsterdam.
