Cloud Operations Engineer / Future Team Lead

This role is ideal for an experienced IT Operations or Infrastructure Engineer with strong systems fundamentals who wants to move further into cloud, modern operations, and future leadership.

You'll join a modern internal IT team inside a successful, long-established business that operates with a start-up mindset. The environment is hands-on and pragmatic, ideas are welcomed, and there's real freedom to influence how IT is run.

This is not a pure cloud engineer role.

What you'll actually do

• Act as a senior 2nd/3rd level operations and infrastructure specialist
• Work across Windows Server, networking, and classic on-prem concepts, while moving services into cloud and hosting environments
• Contribute ideas on how IT operations should be structured, automated, and improved
• Over time, mentor others and take ownership of processes and standards

You might already work with

• Windows Server, Active Directory, networking
• On-prem and hybrid infrastructure
• Hosting environments or early cloud exposure
• Cloud infrastructure -- Azure/AWS (principles matter more than tools)
• Kubernetes, DevOps, automation

Who fits best

• Several years of hands-on experience after university or training
• Strong operations and infrastructure mindset

• Strong German (C1 level)
