Then apply to us! We are looking for a System Engineer (w/m/d) for the online banking solution of the Sparkassen in full-time as soon as possible. We offer you a hybrid working model with 2 days/week at our Berlin location.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operation and orchestration of containerized applications with Kubernetes, as well as their security through the implementation of RBAC, Network Policies, and Pod Security Policies
• Execution of container security measures, including image scanning and vulnerability management
• Creation, maintenance, and upkeep of Helm charts for deployment automation
• Setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Implementation and operation of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-Stack)
• Diagnosis and resolution of performance, deployment, and network problems in distributed systems
• Automation of infrastructure management with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi

Your Profile:

• Several years of professional experience in a similar position
• Willingness to develop in the backend
• Sound knowledge and practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications, as well as confident handling of container technologies like Docker or containerd
• Ideally, you have already worked with AWS S3
• Knowledge in the creation and maintenance of Helm charts
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or comparable)
• Good shell scripting skills and experience with Linux tools
• Knowledge in configuring firewall and routing components
• Certification as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is desirable
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken at a minimum C1 German level, as well as a strong team orientation and enjoyment in actively shaping collaboration
