Project Director | Data Centre Delivery | Frankfurt, Germany

Our client is a leading global real estate and infrastructure platform, committed to driving innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability across modern industrial assets, including data centres and other mission critical hubs across key strategic locations.

As a result of major growth in the market, they are now looking for an experienced Project Director - Data Centre Delivery to lead the development of high-profile data centre projects in the DACH region.

This role will oversee the full construction lifecycle---from tender through commissioning---across mission-critical environments that demand precision, resilience, and sustainability.

The Role:

You'll take charge of complex delivery programmes, coordinating internal teams, consultants, and contractors while ensuring operational readiness and commercial alignment.

You will be deeply involved in negotiations, client relations, construction risk management, and strategic oversight of budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of data centre construction projects (from pre-construction to commissioning).
• Develop and execute strategic project plans and risk mitigation frameworks.
• Manage client relationships and lead technical negotiations during pre-lease and execution phases.
• Oversee budgeting, contractor coordination, design management, and change order processes.
• Resolve disputes within FIDIC or similar frameworks, collaborating with legal and commercial teams.
• Lead a growing delivery team and integrate key hires into a cross-functional project environment.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in data centre delivery, particularly with large-scale construction.
• Strong command of FIDIC or EPCM project frameworks.
• Demonstrated success managing teams and external partners on mission-critical infrastructure.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English required; German or French is an advantage.
