Responsibilities

• Consulting our clients as an external data protection officer.
• Advising and supporting the assurance of compliance with the EU-GDPR and other legal data protection regulations.
• Conducting status analyses/data protection audits and supporting the implementation of measures.
• Training, instruction, sensitization, and advice on data protection regulations.
• Supporting the implementation of corporate policies.
• Monitoring delegated action plans and processing on-site.

Profile

• Ideally, a degree in law, information law, (business) informatics, or a comparable course of study with a focus on data protection/IT law, or vocational training related to information technology/data protection.
• Several years of practical experience in data protection/as a data protection officer and IT are advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GDPR and BDSG, ideally basic knowledge of the HinSchG.
• Sound basic knowledge of information security and relevant standards is highly advantageous.
• Teamwork skills, flexibility, commitment, a high degree of initiative and creativity, as well as a confident demeanor, strategic thinking, consulting competence, and personal commitment to continuous training and development.
• Customer-oriented analysis and implementation skills, structured, process-oriented thinking and working methods.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in German and English.
• Willingness to travel in the northern German region, driver's license class B.
