The consultancy Munich Airport International GmbH (MAI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Flughafen München GmbH, provides management, consulting and training services for the aviation industry worldwide. With four subsidiaries and associated companies, Munich Airport International employs around 100 highly qualified experts and can look back on more than 125 successfully completed projects in over 45 countries.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Advise our aviation clients as well as airports and terminals managed by us and participate in complex airport projects worldwide.
  • Formulate and develop recommendations, solutions and business cases with attention to client requirements and present them to our clients' management on any level.
  • Support or lead business development engagements together with our teams to jointly succeed in the acquisition of new projects.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the aviation industry in the area of Advanced Air Mobility, Sustainability & Carbon Reduction and Digitalization & Automatization.

Ihr Profil

We are looking for a Senior Consultant (f/m/d) with experience in project management and passion for the aviation and airport industry.

You are willing to relocate to Germany (if you are not living here) and flexible to travel to global places for our projects, which may last several months? Perfect, then let's get in touch!

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree with focus on business, aviation, engineering or equivalent.
  • Several years of work experience (min. 8 years) in the consulting business or in managing complex projects, ideally within aviation, airport industry, infrastructure, mobility or technology-related industries.
  • A successfully completed project management certification (e.g. PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2 or equivalent) and confidence in applying structured project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in multicultural and multi-disciplinary environments paired with the ability to structure and convey complex topics in a clear and convincing way.
  • High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel extensively for several months for global project assignments; relocation to our Headquarters in Munich is expected if not currently based in Germany.
  • Excellent English language skills (oral and written), other language skills are advantageous, good German language skills are welcome but not necessary.
  • An existing access permit for airport security areas or a certified clean police record for enabling airport pass application and police background check.
