Your Role

For our location in Borken, we are looking for you as a Packaging Engineer (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities

As a Packaging Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop sustainable and technically sophisticated packaging and logistics concepts and successfully implement them. You will manage projects from the concept phase to implementation, ensuring smooth technical execution. Optimizing existing packaging concepts and coordinating packaging concepts with suppliers, customers, and purchasing are a significant part of your daily work. In addition to developing new packaging, you will also optimize and implement new processes in packaging logistics. You will also proactively identify and promote innovative packaging machines and materials. Furthermore, you will monitor quality standards, analyze costs, and identify potential savings in packaging technology. You will present these results, including defined implementation measures, to our customers. Technical documentation, checking and revising technical drawings, and sample approvals based on technical specifications are also part of your responsibilities.

Your Profile

You have completed a degree in Packaging Technology or a comparable field. Ideally, you have initial practical experience, e.g., through internships or working student positions in the field of packaging technology. You are comfortable switching between "safety shoes and a suit." Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, characterizes you. You present convincingly, interact confidently with internal and external contacts, and communicate your concepts and ideas with focus. Due to correspondence with international suppliers, good English skills (B2) are required. Responsibility, independence, and a proactive approach characterize you.
