Ihre Aufgaben

• Your thing. In small teams, you will work independently and close to the product. You will find your solutions and accompany the entire production cycle.
• Supporting our Silicon Photonics Wafer Probe System product line for existing and future customers.
• Work interactively with customers to understand the complexities of their application challenges and formulate solutions independently and through collaboration with our engineering teams.
• Solid ability to understand and document customer requirements and deliverables, and to translate these into engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with our internal engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to resolve production, technical, and operational challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
• Create content and deliver technical overviews, demos, seminars, and workshops for clients, fellow engineers and/or Sales.
• Systematically solves problems and hypothesizes possible client pain points, expectations, and implicit needs.
• Identifies the right client stakeholders and builds connections quickly to drive consensus for design wins; works cooperatively with a wide range of internal stakeholders for success. Brainstorms with team members to devise solutions to solve complex client challenges.
• Goes out of their way to complete a task and has relentless drive to achieve results; is independent and self-directed and takes initiative.
• Represents the Voice of the Customer (VOC) to communicate market needs and competitive intelligence back to the Marketing and Engineering teams.
• Participation in commissioning, independent execution of internal acceptance tests, customer demonstrations and training on our machines in-house and at the customer's premises.

Ihr Profil

• Just get started. With our New Hire training plan, you will arrive relaxed your new tasks.
• Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or a similar field.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar field of activity desirable, ideally in Silicon Photonics and/or semiconductor test.
• Solid background in optics or Silicon Photonics.
• Direct experience with electronics lab equipment and procedures such as Tunable Laser Source, Polarization Synthesizers, Optical Power Meters. Experience in semiconductor testers such as Advantest or Teradyne is a great plus.
• Desired experience: familiarity with testing technologies from single fibers to arrays, and from vertical coupling to edge coupling, autonomous calibration and re-calibration at multiple temperatures.
• Detail-oriented work, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, customer orientation and good teamwork skills.
• A valid EU driver's license
• Full professional proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Good knowledge of the common MS Office applications.
• Willingness to travel (national and international).
