Then I have something for you: One of Germany's most renowned specialist publishers -- with exciting digital products and deep social influence -- is currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the stability, scalability, and availability of production systems
  • Operating the CI/CD infrastructure (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm, etc.)
  • Automating deployments and operational processes with modern tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes)
  • Participating in future projects related to the integration of AI applications into a modern cloud infrastructure (Azure-based)
  • Close collaboration with development teams on architecture and design decisions
  • Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting in complex system landscapes (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
  • Responsibility for the security and availability of the cloud and on-prem infrastructure

Profile

  • Several years of experience in operating Linux systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat)
  • Solid know-how in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native technologies
  • Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and configuration management (e.g., Ansible)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Understanding of networks, monitoring, logging, and incident response
  • Analytical mindset, initiative, and strong communication skills
  • Fluent German language skills (C1+) are required
